Did you hear me say LV bag? Yes! You heard right! The amazing thing about thrifting is discovering high end and designer pieces and what’s even more amazing is you don’t have to break the bank to buy them because with a good bargain you will be walking home with a classic piece for just a little price. And most times, those sellers don’t even know the staples they are selling off for a meagre sum are high brand pieces.
I was strolling through the market, money in purse and just looking for a bag or two to buy, I had a specific mission, “to buy a bag”. Often times i have deviated from the specific plan of buying a particular item and gone on to spend on things i never budgeted for. I’m sure most of you can relate to this.
The LV bag was just lying there amongst other bags on the floor (probably waiting for me Lol!) and when I picked it up, I knew I had found “The one!” (sorry boo, not you). When i asked the seller the price and she said N100 (yep! you heard right!) i just looked at her and thought to myself “is this woman kidding me? Does she know what this is?”. Anyway, i bought another bag from her, Paid her N200 and strolled happily away. I could have danced ‘shoki’ for this bag at the market but my ancestors would find that embarrassing so i just maintained my cool.
I have rocked it a few times and it’s one of my favourite in my collection(not that i’m a bag kinda girl). Until i Can afford millions to spend on a new Lv bag, I would have to make do with this one.
What designer/high-end thrift piece do you own? what is the most ridiculous amount you have spent on a thrift piece?

Oh well… I have some designer jeans as well.. 😂😂😂😂 don’t think I have ever owned a bag.. I thought I was the only one who doesn’t like handbag.. Atart d carrying cos of condition… And it must have a long strap.
Love the new series….. Can you also add where you bought them?? Just for references purposes. If it looks good and it’s Thrifted, I will just jejely thrift it into my wardrobe 😂😂😂😂

Things in port-harcourt are so extremely expensive infact a new bag sometimes is more affordable than these fairly used ones.

It’s a cute bag! Everytime i read one of these thrift posts and see the ridiculously low prices you got it for, I fold my arms Chiwetalu Agu style and look around me incredulously. Abuja why?

Lmao! Amaka you are so funny ehn. You just reminded me of gifty who complained of Port Harcourt bargain being so expensive. But i agree, we are so lucky getting the good stuffs for ridiculous prices. Hopefully you visit lagos and then you can thrift shop till you drop.
